my girl...

I know, I know, some of you are suffering from shock at the sight of another posting...two in one day! I got this shot of Bella today and I love it, so I'm sharing it with you. The girl is so photogenic, I can't take a bad picture of her! Have a great weekend!

the many faces of braden...

Here are some of the pics we got of Braden a few days ago...

Sweet Braden

"I don't know...I didn't do it."

Pensive Braden (as he's thinking up some question we
can't answer)

Little photographer in the making...

This is SO Braden...

Thanks for visiting...we love hearing from you!

braden, bella, & evan...

I've been thinking about how we get a lot more pictures of Bella and Evan than we do of Braden. One reason for that is that he spends most of his days at school, and the other reason is that he likes to cheese it up and be silly when the camera shows up. So yesterday I told him we would get some nice pictures of him if he would cooperate...we got some really sweet ones and I'll post more of those later, but as I was looking through them, I noticed these similar pictures of all the kids...and I like them so much, here they are...

Click on the picture for a larger, much more detailed view...

We're a bit prejudiced, but we think they're beautiful and precious, and we thank the Lord for giving them to us. Hope you all have a great week. Thanks for keeping in touch!

hanging out at home...

Today, the kids and I decided to just stick around the house and play...we even stayed in our jammies for a while. When Evan saw the camera, he wanted me to take a picture of him running. He was going as fast as he could shouting, "I Lightning 'Queen...ka-chow, ka-chow, ka-chow!" Enjoy...

they're so sweet (sometimes)...

As I am posting, I hear the song "Butterfly Kisses" coming from my computer...it always reminds me of the sweet innocence of our kids and what a precious gift they are from God. I need to be reminded of that sometimes, especially when they are not being so sweet and innocent! ;o) I hope all of you enjoy seeing these pictures, but if no one else looks at them, I love seeing them over and over...of course I'm a little prejudiced. Enjoy the pix, some more from our last trip to the park...

a day at the park...

This past Saturday we had such a beautiful day out that we decided to go to the park. Initially I left the camera at home because I just wanted to be free from lugging the thing around, plus I figured I have so many recent pictures of the kids, why bother? When I realized there were some good photo opportunities, Ringo was sweet enough to run home and get the camera! To think I almost missed out on these shots...

Thanks for checking in. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Please pray for us. Keep in touch!

more of the aquarium...

Here are some more images of our day at the aquarium. Again, not the best quality...I'm still learning how to take pictures in low light (and some of these rooms were completely dark except for the tank lights)!

Evan in the underwater tunnel...

We saw Nemo & Dory in this tank...

The sawfish were about 10 feet long!
Wonder where they got the name?

Bella reached in several times to pick up
the horseshoe crab, but she just couldn't
make herself touch one!

This tank is suspended up off the ground,
and the kids crawl underneath it, stand up
in the opening and look at the creatures from inside.
The kids loved it!

happy 2007...

We celebrated the new year with a trip to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg. This was a Christmas gift from my brother and his wife. The kids were so excited, especially Braden. He is ALWAYS asking if we can go to the aquarium. I have a few more pictures ready to post, but only have time to do a few right now. These are not the best quality pictures I've ever taken, but I hope you'll enjoy them anyway!

Ringo with the kids...it was COLD!

The tunnel is the best part...sharks, huge sawfish,
sea turtles and many, many other creatures!

A very kind British man offered to take
a picture of all of us...

SHARK!

As soon as I have time, I'll get some more of these posted. Thanks to Clan, Stephanie, and Will for a unique and awesome Christmas gift!

Happy New Year! (Okay, I could write so much here about looking back and looking forward, about doing more for the Lord and seeking His will in our lives, but I don't have time so you are all spared!)
